Join me this week for another in a series of interviews with LGBTQ spiritual leaders. I’ll be talking with Mark Anthony Lord, Founder and Spiritual Director of the Bodhi Spiritual Center in Chicago.
One of my favorite things about hosting Out From the Inside is the opportunity to talk to LGBTQ people about their stories and what compels them to engage in the work they do. Mark Anthony’s story is inspiring and really, really REAL.
From a painful childhood as a gay kid in a blue collar town outside Detroit, through addiction issues and a lot of shame, tune in to hear how he woke up the idea that there might be another kind of God and went on to found one of the most vibrant LGBTQ spiritual communities in the U.S.
Mark Anthony says he is “NOT a typical minister. He’s a new-era minister who absolutely does not judge anyone or anything.” I think you’ll enjoy his story and message.
We’ll be taking your calls and taking about the passion for healing homophobia and the transformative power of unconditional love.
As always, I appreciate your support of the show. We have some exciting things coming up in the next few weeks, as well as an announcement I’ve been looking forward to making for a very long time. Stay tuned….
You Be YOU!
